Giffen closed Tuesday due to heating malfunction
Giffen Memorial Elementary School will be closed Tuesday due to a malfunction in the heating system.
A leak occurred overnight that shut down heat to the building. Crews are working on the problem but could not have it fixed in time for the school day.
With all schools closed for the rest of the week beginning Wednesday for the Thanksgiving break, Giffen will reopen next Monday, Dec. 1.
