An important reminder from Principal Piper - the following items are not permitted in our building and any infraction will be handled via the City School District of Albany's Code of Conduct:

- Drug paraphernalia/alcohol/vapes
- Scissors - pointed/sharp tip
- Box cutters/utility knives
- Weapons
All students are welcome to participate in Saturday School in advance of the New York State exams. It runs every Saturday, except for during breaks, from 8:30-11:30 a.m. The sessions provide test-taking strategies, make-up work opportunities and core subject support.
ESPN was busy with the NCAA tournament but make sure to check out these highlights from Thursday's faculty basketball game, and PTA fundraiser, against Eagle Point. NAMS handily edged out EPES, 25-20. The game was both bitter and sweet, but everyone - players and fans - left united as City School District of Albany Falcons.
Spring Picture Day is scheduled for Monday, March 23. LifeTouch will be available for all interested students.

- Our fundraiser and partnership with Dave and Busters ends Monday. The PTA will receive 50% of the sales and your card can be used immediately.
- Thank you to everyone who contributed food and beverage items, or a monetary donation, to make our Staff Appreciation lunch this week a success! We can't do what we do without you!
- Our Clynk campaign is ongoing! Bags are available near the front office and can be dropped off at school or contact the PTA for pick up.
- Please continue to save any shopping or dining receipts from Colonie Center for the School Bucks Program. Again, drop off at the NAMS Main Office or contact the PTA to coordinate pick up.
Looking for a summer job? Applications are now open for the City of Albany's Summer Youth Employment Program. The pay is $16 an hour, but you must be 14 by March 31.
Fallen Chandelier Productions is holding on Wednesday, March 25 from 3-8 p.m. at William S. Hackett Middle School. Please note this is not a school-sponsored event. The City School District of Albany is not responsible or liable for any problems or damages arising from participation in this activity.
