• There is no school on Tuesday (Nov. 11) in observance of Veterans Day.
   
• Our North Albany Middle School spirit wear store is now live! and show your NAMS pride!
   
• If you're interested in Picture Day re-takes on Nov. 17, please sign up in advance in the Guidance Office. 
   
• All NAMS students will receive a gift at our Dec. 18 . Siblings are eligible for a toy, as well, but please register siblings
   
• The City School District of Albany's Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) will meet virtually next Thursday (Nov. 13) at 6:30 p.m. Details and login information can be found here.
   
• Food assistance is available to district families affected by the federal government's shutdown. A list of resources can be found here. Additionally, here is  in the City of Albany.
   
• The deadline to complete paperwork for Albany High School's Academy lottery is Nov. 25. The lottery is scheduled for Dec. 11.
   
• Modified (grades 7-8) winter sports registration is now open! Sign up your student athlete today! Physicals for winter and spring modified sports will be offered Nov. 20 in the NAMS nurses' office from 1-3 p.m.
   
• Our Teen Night is scheduled for Nov. 10 and includes events for parents/guardians too!
   
• Update from the PTA:
  • Our next PTA meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 19.
  • You can now help the NAMS PTA when shopping at Colonie Center. For every dollar spent at Colonie Center, NAMS will receive a dollar! to benefit from this program, so please share your receipts with us!
  • The PTA's goal is to bring in income with items our families already buy. Box Tops and Clynk are easy ways you can help.
