First-graders at New Scotland Elementary out of recycled plastic jugs! With help from the Vegetable Project in Albany, NY and parent volunteers, students drilled drainage holes, mixed soil, and planted a variety of herbs, vegetables, and flowers. They’ve placed their greenhouses in the schoolyard and are now waiting for the sun to work its magic!
