Infinite Campus is the City School District of Albany’s new student information management system allowing students, families and staff to access information on schedules, attendance, assignments and more.
Infinite Campus has replaced SchoolTool as of the 2026-27 school year.
Parent Portal access
If you are a parent or guardian, we encourage you to make use of the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. This portal can be used to track your child’s academic progress throughout the year and update your phone and email contact information as needed.
If you already had an email on file
- You should have received an email with a link to set up your account.
- Please be sure to check your spam folder; the subject will be Parent Portal Creation Notification and the sending address will be: sisinfo@albany.k12.ny.us
If you did not have an email on file
- If you did not have an email on file or did not receive an email from us, you can request that we create a portal account .
Info session
We will also hold an informational session on Aug. 5 at 5 p.m. where families can learn more and ask questions. This session will be held at Albany High School and is open to all district families.
Why the change?
Infinite Campus is a modern, innovative and user-friendly platform that gives families the ability to stay connected to their child’s education anytime, anywhere.
Infinite Campus will provide vastly improved access to attendance records, schedules, assignments, grades, assessment results, graduation progress and more.
We also intend to use the increased functionality of Infinite Campus to streamline many of our existing processes. For example, families will now be able to submit attendance excuses and requests directly through the Infinite Campus portal.
It is our hope that by gradually incorporating these procedures within one platform, it will over time reduce the number of apps and software families need to use.
