The City School District of Albany has put some new practices in place for the start of the 2019-20 school year to help our middle and high school students get comfortable in their new learning environments.
Friday, Sept. 6 is the first day of school for the following students:
- All elementary students
- Middle school students in grades 6-7 attending their school for the first time
- Albany High School freshmen
- Albany International Center students attending that program for the first time
Monday, Sept. 9 is the first day of school for the following students:
- Middle school students in grade 7 returning to their school
- All eighth-grade students
- Albany High students in grades 10-12
- Albany International Center students returning to the program
- All Tony Clement Center for Education students
