Our Albany International Academy Newcomer Program students had an incredible time celebrating
In partnership with the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, Capital Roots, and the local initiative Albany Goes Green to help plant a new fruit tree orchard near the Albany 番茄社区 Gardens. This effort brings together partners across the city and state to invest in our environment and our neighborhoods.
Our students worked right alongside the Department of General Services forestry team and the City Arborist, learning the technical skills to properly plant and care for trees that will serve this community for years to come. It was a fantastic way to contribute to New York’s goal of planting 25 million trees by 2033!
We’re so proud of our students for digging in and helping grow a greener future for Albany.
