Our Albany High girls' swim team put forth a y as they faced off against Saratoga.

We celebrate the camaraderie, teamwork and determination our Falcons swimmers put forth throughout the competition. 

While Albany High did not secure a win, we are proud of the following Falcons for showcasing awesome individual performances:

• Junior Sara Carroll placed first in the 100-yard backstroke with a Section 2 qualifying time of 1:14.36. Carroll also placed second in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:45.66.
• Junior Abigail Scaringe placed third in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 30.33.
• Freshman Juliana DiVirgilio placed third in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 1:09.07.

Be sure to mark your calendars for our next home swimming competition, which will be held on Friday, Oct. 9 at 4:30 p.m.
