Update on school tax mailing error
We are excited to welcome our Falcon fans and sports enthusiasts to our home competitions at Albany High!
To help everyone plan accordingly, we have outlined some helpful details on the topics of parking, entry, safety and security, concessions and Falcon gear.
Please be aware there have been some updates to the Safety and Security section, which are noted below.
Parking
- Visitors may park in the lots located off Washington Avenue and North Main Avenue after school hours and on the weekends.
- Free street parking is also available.
- Accessible parking is available in both parking lots and right next to the stadium. For the accessible parking next to the stadium, please enter via the access road off Washington Avenue. This area will be blocked off, but our sports supervisors will be available to let you through if needed.
Entry
- Spectators may arrive up to 45 minutes prior to the start of any home competition.
- All regular season sports competitions at Albany High are free of charge.
- For competitions hosted inside the school, please enter Albany High via the main entrance on Washington Avenue.
- For competitions hosted in the Albany High stadium, Falcon fans will enter through the home team entrance located behind the bleachers on the access road. Spectators for the away team will have a separate entrance.
Safety and Security
- All spectators will go through our standard security screening and bag check for games hosted inside our school and in the stadium.
- Backpacks are not permitted in the stadium area. Bags for medical accessories/equipment, diaper bags, camera cases, and regular-sized handbags, purses and clear bags are allowed.
- Our sports supervisors will provide a backpack check-in system so students can have a safe spot to store their belongings and come cheer on their peers. The backpack check-in is available for competitions in our stadium.
- No outside athletic equipment is permitted inside the stadium or in the gymnasiums.
- Once student spectators enter, there is no reentry. No student reentry is allowed once the second half of the competition begins. These two protocols are for students only and apply to any sports competition with a start time of 5 p.m. or later.
- Students are encouraged to bring their student IDs.

Concessions and Falcon gear
- The Albany Booster Club is proud to offer drinks, food, candy and snacks for purchase at our home competitions. All proceeds benefit athletic and extracurricular programs for our students!
- Additionally, the Albany Booster Club will have Falcon clothing and merchandise for sale at our home competitions so we can show our Falcon pride!
