Back-to-school excitment grows throughout district

Teachers and students aren't the only ones getting ready for a new year! It was a busy week for district employees in all 18 of our buildings as everyone prepares to open our doors for the first day of 2026-27 on Friday, Sept. 4.

The first food and beverage deliveries of the new school year were dropped off Wednesday, which means our A lot of organization and planning goes into fueling our students’ bodies and brains and we are grateful for each and every team member for the work they do in district kitchens and cafeterias.

And, earlier in the week, maintenance employees participated in a professional development and team-building session that focused on student safety, infection control, hazardous materials and emergency response. to get the floors shining, the grounds looking pristine and ensuring our classrooms have everything they need so our students can settle in and start learning.

Thank you to all our faculty and staff for your partnership in 2026-27.
