We are thrilled to announce that 27 seniors have officially committed to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level!
On Tuesday, June 2, Albany Athletics hosted a to mark this amazing moment and wish our graduating seniors the absolute best in the next season as competitive athletes.
Kimberly Pilla, Director of Health, PE & Athletics, opened the ceremony, sharing words of pride and appreciation for the dedication of each athlete to our sports program. Assistant Director of Health, PE & Athletics, Glenn Westfall, Jr. then presented each student-athlete, noting details about their exemplary talent and leadership. At the culmination of the ceremony, all the students signed their names on special certificates in celebration of this tremendous milestone.
Of the 27 students, four committed to play two sports at the collegiate level. Additionally, we are excited to have three students in the group who are our first Falcons to commit to playing flag football at the collegiate level!
