Hard work that combined research and learning new technology paid off for North Albany Middle School's Junior Falcons!
This week the school's What's So Cool About Manufacturing Club earned the title of Best Overall Video at a regional awards ceremony at Proctor's Theater in Schenectady. NAMS was one of 15 schools in the competition.
The - which was created over a series of visits to Aquatic Development Group, a water park construction firm - demonstrated why the next generation thinks manufacturing is both practical, and cool!
The student leaders who were recognized for their creativity and achievement are (from left to right): Elizabeth Rattray (7), Asani Oliver (8), Rahmyi Oliver (8), Kiara Gibson (7), Collesha McDonald (7) and Jahmari Mosely (7 - not pictured). They were supported by NAMS educators Jassenia Rios-Gibson and Brooklyn Williams.
